Great Eskimo Paradox

Yesterday I was in HMV. Moving towards the vinyl section I had grabbed an NME of a shelf on the way. After hunting for Foals 7" singles and failing, I returned to buy NME along with the Jonny Greenwood album (its an instrumental soundtrack for the film There Will Be Blood) when I realised the NME in my hand was different from the one on the Shelves. It had 'gone out of date' and was replaced with the NME New Noise issue (it was interesting- I thought the virgins were a 2008 band but apparently not) while I was browsing for 'quality' music. So I had two out-of-date magazines to read on the tube home.

Then today I went on the Great Eskimo Hoax MySpace. After listening to the first song on the MySpace player I realised that the song had only just been uploaded and I was the first to hear it! Normaly I would've brushed something like this aside but combined with yesterday's similar event I became suspicious. Coincedence? I think not... some greater force is working to make me tell you about this band.

They are very similar to Foals and although they are slightly jazzier if the vocals were more like Foals than sounding like Blur I would easily believe it was a Foals track. So think Foals meets Blur with a pinch of Jazz.
